Philippians 4:6-7, do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
The world screams for peace and yet they are looking in all the wrong places for it! The only peace there is will be found in God and walking closely by His side. There’s just so much anger and anxiety, fear, and hopelessness out there and the answer is Jesus!
God doesn’t want you to be anxious about anything. He is God and He sees, He cares and He has a plan for your life. I know it can be easier said than done when you can’t see what is coming, and you have absolutely no control over anything it seems, but you can trust Him if you are walking with Him. Don’t look for answers somewhere else. Do what He shows you needs to be done and then trust that He will always do what is right and best. When we allow God to work in our lives and shine His light through us, it shows the world that there is a better way. People are tired of just talk, they want to see the difference God makes in your life. They want to see His love in and through you. They want to see that He is still a God of miracles, but that takes our living lives that are truly open to His leading. He wants you to walk in the confidence that He loves you and He is still on His throne.
So I would like to encourage you today to be the difference in this crazy world by allowing God to shine through in your life through the heartaches and storms, your decisions, and how you choose to treat those around you. Allow His peace to fill your heart and mind by focusing on Him instead of all that is going on. Allow Him to guide you into living a life that honors Him. Be His hands and feet to this hurt and lost world. Ask God to fill you with His peace and love and to show you how you can be all He created you to be so your life will draw others to Him!

I love reading this and it gives me the strength and courage I need. Some days I feel like you are talking to me. I’m going through financially hard times and get very depressed, I’m doing a lot of praying an just waiting for it to get better.
