John 2: 24-25, “But He did not commit Himself to them, for He knew what people are like ~ that is, He didn’t need anyone to inform Him about a person because He knew what was in the person’s heart.”
For all of those times when you have felt misunderstood, pushed aside, misjudged, etc, you can rest in the fact that God knows and He knows you! He sees you and He knows your heart. He loves you and He has a plan so stick close to His side and trust Him. He knows more about you than you know yourself and He knows those around you as well. Everyone goes through times in life when they feel as though no one really sees who they are, but when you go through that you must remember that satan wants to make you feel unloved, insecure, and alone. Reject those thoughts and know that God loves you and He wants to be the love of your life. He wants to have a close relationship with you and He wants to use your story.
I cannot encourage you enough to really dig in when it comes to your relationship with Him. Ask Him to help you to know Him more, to recognize Him in everything. He is constantly doing things around you to reveal Himself and His love, but you must draw close to Him to see it, it may be something in nature like a sunset or a particular flower that blesses you unexpectedly, or it may be hearing from someone that you haven’t heard from at just the right time. He may show up mighty and fight for you too but don’t miss out on the little things He does. Too often Christians treat God as though He is just somewhere off in the distance not really paying attention, but He is right by your side. He knows your name and for good and bad, He sees everything. He doesn’t miss a thing. It is His love for us that should make us want a close relationship with Him. Don’t miss out. You don’t have to wait for Heaven in order to enjoy His presence. All of this is part of the reason I just love Jeremiah 29:11-13, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” He wants that for you, but you must seek Him with all your heart. Ask Him today what His dreams for your life are and how you can fulfill all that He created you to be. Trust Him ~ don’t hold anything back.
