Psalm 100 

Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!  

Serve the Lord with gladness!  

Come into His presence with singing!  

Know that the Lord, He is God!  

It is He who made us, and we are His; 

we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.  

Enter His gates with thanksgiving, 

and His courts with praise!  

Give thanks to Him; bless His name!  

For the Lord is good; 

His steadfast love endures forever, 

and His faithfulness to all generations.

I love this Psalm!  This is my favorite time of year, with Fall decorations and Thanksgiving and Christmas coming!  I just love it!  I have been through wonderful years full of joy and blessings and I have been through years when the holidays seemed to illuminate the loss, but God was still God and He was always there.  I didn’t always embrace His presence, there were times I chose to cling to my feelings of thinking I was alone, but either way, He was still there. Don’t allow what you feel to consume your mind with doubts.

So!  Today, I would like for us to set aside everything else and focus on these verses.  Take the time today to praise Him for who He is!  Praise Him for His character and faithfulness!  Praise Him for all of His goodness!  If you are at the point of having no words, turn on some praise and worship music.  Allow the music to fill your heart and mind to praise Him! Maybe today your heart is broken beyond what you could have ever imagined and all you can do is listen ~ that’s ok, but turn it on and listen and allow Him to comfort you and just rest in Him.

God loves you more than words can say. Take the time today to praise Him and watch your faith and hope grow.  Your storms can’t help but cower in His presence!  Praise Him.  Don’t stop thanking and praising Him.  He is faithful and His love for you never fails.  We live in such a dark world and we need to take the opportunity to shine the light of the hope that can only be found in Him and the best place to start is with praise! Cling to Him today knowing that truly His best is yet to come!
