Psalm 34:1. I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
When there are no words anymore for all that you are facing, choose to praise Him. Praise the God who has a plan, not just any plan but as it says in Jeremiah 29:11, “Plans for good and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future!” He loves you! Yes, life happens to all of us and sometimes it seems to be more than we can bear, I am by no means making light of what you are going through! Your best answers will be found in Him so instead of allowing satan to talk you into turning away from the One who loves you and wants to walk with you and guide you, turn to Him and get excited that He sees you and He wants to show you all He has planned for you.
It is when our hearts are so heavy that we don’t know where to turn or how to even lift our heads anymore that we need to turn to praise because He is the God who heals, the God who delivers, the God who sees and knows what exactly you need to get you through to the other side! He is the God who loves beyond measure and His heart is for you and He wants to help you to become all that He created you to be despite the attacks satan is bringing against you! Give those situations and/or people that are dragging you down to God and allow Him to fill you with His love and strength.
As we celebrate His birth this year, let’s make sure we are taking the time to praise God for who He is and all He has done! Let’s make sure that those around us truly know what Christmas is all about! Let go of those grudges and choose to forgive. Choose to show God’s love no matter what someone else is doing. God loves you and wants to fill you with His love for others so they will see His love too! Take the time to reach out to show His love! Be extra kind because there’s more hurt and pain out there than ever before! Stand for what is right in love! Being mean and hateful will never win anyone over and you will answer to God for every idle word, so choose love and kindness! Choose to praise God so others see Him! Choose to honor Him in all you do! Praise Him this Christmas season for who He is and for all He has done and all He is going to do! Truly His best is yet to come so may His praise continually be in your mouth!
