Psalm 59:16. But I will sing of your strength; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress.
What has you stressed this morning? Do the odds you are facing seem insurmountable? Give it all to Him and trust Him! I know I say that over and over, but trust me, I am saying it to myself every day as well! God knows what is best and He will be there for you and guide you if you will allow Him to speak into your situation. If you have been giving it to Him and following Him and yet you don’t seem to have answers, just hold on! Satan wants to discourage you and get you to give up, don’t allow it! Stand your ground! Absolutely nothing is too difficult for our God!
Remember Ephesians 6: 10-18! Get your Bible out and read those verses again today! The battle is The Lords and you need to put on your spiritual armor in order to stand! God will give you everything you need, but you have to stop taking it back! You have to trust Him and you have to be open to the idea that maybe what you have been thinking about your situation isn’t His plan. Make sure that it lines up with scripture. Make sure that you haven’t set your mind on something and you aren’t hearing what He has to say! Don’t miss out on the fullness of His presence and answers for your situation because of your stubbornness! Don’t listen to how you feel, remind yourself of who He is and His character!
God wants us to live lives that reflect His power and love and the only way for that to happen is for us to wholeheartedly follow Him and open our hearts and lives up to Him. The mistake we often seem to make is thinking that means that our lives are constantly going to overflow with what we want but sometimes reflecting His power is doing right when all hell comes against you and being able to show His love to those who you don’t maybe feel deserve it for all they have put you through! You aren’t going to get to the place He has for you on your own. He created us to walk with Him! He loves you and He has a plan ~ Jeremiah 29:11-13! I guess the question always comes back to whether or not you want His plan and whether you are willing to trust Him completely in it. He’s got this! Trust Him and praise Him today knowing that His best is yet to come!
