You Won’t Be Standing Alone

Ephesians 6:13,  Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, TO STAND.

There can be times in life when all you can do is stand!  If you have done everything that you can think of that you need to do and you have prayed and sought God in your situation then it’s time to armor up and just stand and wait on Him!  There are so many verses in the Bible telling us that God is our Redeemer, Defender, the one who vindicates us, our Rock, and our help in times of trouble and we need to take Him at His Word and stand on those promises when everything seems to be falling apart around us.

There’s more blatant chaos in the world today than I think any of us could have possibly imagined.  It is very difficult to even figure out what is true if you watch the news.  That is why you must saturate yourself with the Word of God and Praise and Worship music!  Focus on Him.  God still has a plan for your life regardless of what else is going on.  He still wants to use you to further His plan.  Trust Him.  Focus on doing what He is asking you to do today, whatever that may be.  Instead of arguing with people on social media allow God to shine through you so you can be the difference that draws others to Him.

If you are hurting today know that He sees and He cares and He wants to heal your wounded heart.  He loves you beyond measure and He wants to give you all that you need to get through another day.  Take some time and read Psalms.  Allow Him to show you all that He has planned and allow Him to comfort you today.

I would encourage you to pour your heart out to God and trust Him to guide you and give you the strength to stand.  He loves you and you can trust that truly His best is yet to come so be the light to this dark world as you stand on all of the promises He has given us.
