2 Chronicles 7:14, “If My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

No matter where in the world you live today we need to all come together in prayer for the leaders of nations around the world.  In America, we are coming up on an election that could make or break this great nation, but we are not the only country in this kind of struggle.  We need to humble ourselves and remember that God is still on His throne and it isn’t just an election we should be praying about, even though that should be one thing that does weigh heavy on your heart.  We need to be pouring our hearts out to God for the lost!  We need to be in constant prayer for Israel too!

Who do you know that needs Jesus?  Whether it is a relative, neighbor, or a leader in your government, are you praying that God will draw them to Him?  When hearts turn to God, there is true change.  Maybe you have loved ones or acquaintances who are not walking with God, pray for them.  A true relationship with God is not a “fake it til you make it” thing.  There are too many people pretending and yet missing out on a true relationship with Him.  God loves them and wants a close relationship with them just like He does you!  He loves you beyond words and it is time to dig deeper in your walk with Him.

The world is a mess and as Christians, we need to be on our knees.  We need to take prayer more seriously!  How much are we missing out on because we are not in prayer on a regular basis?  How much do those around us miss out on?  It is time to expand your prayer list and time to get intentional about your prayer!  Don’t allow satan to have any foothold by convincing you that you don’t have time or that someone doesn’t deserve or need your prayers. Pray for your pastor and his family because satan is after him too.  Ask God to give you a passion to pray.  Ask Him for a passion for the lost and those who are struggling in their walk with Him.  Ask God to fill you with His love for others.  The list is endless for what all we should be praying about.  Start somewhere.  If it seems overwhelming to you then start small and allow God to grow your prayer life.  Don’t allow another day to go by.  Start today knowing that when you are walking with Him you can know that truly His best is yet to come!
