Matthew 6:33,  But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

There are so many people and things out there vying for your attention if you aren’t intentional in what you focus on you could find yourself scattered everywhere.  In a world where the focus is all about “Me”, what makes “me” happy, what “I” want, and what “I” think is right with total disregard for anything or anyone else there’s mass confusion and dysfunction.  God is a God of order.  He doesn’t want confusion that is why He gave us His Word!  All of life’s answers are found in Him and His Word, not in money or anything, or anyone else.  The world around us is full of people who are going to Hell if they don’t find Jesus.  If we don’t focus on Him, how will they see Him? That doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t pursue your career or that having money is somehow bad, we just each need to make sure that God is always number 1 in our life!  Remember the old saying, “If satan can’t make you bad he will make you busy”. He will use whatever he can to distract and discourage you so just keep your focus on God and He will guide you, give you strength and grace for every day!

How much room does He have in your life?  If you have children are you teaching them the Word of God and talking with them about what they may be hearing and learning elsewhere?  We need to remember what it says in 1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”  Satan isn’t picky, he is looking for anyone and everyone he can drag away from the truth.  He knows his time is getting shorter by the minute and so is ours for reaching the lost!  While we look forward to the coming of Jesus we need to make sure we are doing all we can to deepen our walk with the Lord and to reach those who don’t know Him!  Pray for God to guide you in your walk with Him and seek Him by spending intentional time praying and learning more about Him!  Seek Him and trust Him to take care of all of your cares.  He will guide you and give you all you need to be that light in your corner of the world.

It is not God’s will that anyone die in their sin ~ we need to pray for His heart for people.  God is for you and it is also His desire to help you accomplish all He created you to be able to accomplish.  Don’t waste another moment, we have no idea how soon He may come, so seek Him with your whole heart, mind, and soul today!
