James 1:5,  If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given to you.

Have you asked God how?  When you run up against a wall and the challenge seems overwhelming ~ ask Him.  God is willing to give you the wisdom you need for all that He gives you to do so why not ask for it?  Are you trying to figure out how to raise your children in the craziness of what is going on in the world?  Ask God!  Are you trying to figure out how to deal with that difficult person at work?  Ask God!  Are you trying to figure out how to get that business off the ground?  Ask God!  Are you not sure who to listen to?  Ask God!

God has not only promised to give you the wisdom you need, He has promised to guide you and walk with you and to do exceedingly abundantly more than you could ask or think if you are following His plan.  Nope, not prosperity thinking here ~ you cannot expect God’s plan to work out in your life if you are not following Him and there are times when all Hell breaks loose in your life and you are going to need His wisdom and His power and His goodness in your life to see you through.  Life at times runs us all over and that is the point ~ there’s just no way you can have the wisdom needed in life without getting it from Him.  You can’t make some of the craziness that is going on up, and God is the only one who can tell you how and what to do.  

Don’t hesitate to run to Him today and tell Him what you need and ask for His wisdom for all that you need to do.  Ask Him to bring the right people into your life.  Ask Him what His dreams are for your life.  Don’t miss out on His plan because you have your mind set on what you think you want.  He always knows what is best and you will see that if you will just follow Him.  Grab on to His promise to give you wisdom in every situation today knowing that then His best is yet to come in your life!
