Isaiah 7:9b,  “If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all.”

From beginning to end, the Bible tells us that we must have faith.  We must believe God and take Him at His Word in every area of our lives!  The Bible tells us that without faith, it is impossible to please God. (Hebrews 11:6). While it isn’t always easy, our goal should be to learn to trust Him and have faith to believe that He will do all He said He will do. He will accomplish all that He has set out to accomplish, regardless of what things look like right now! He is worthy of our trust. 

Keep your eyes set on Him. If you watch all of the chaos going on around you, then you may find it difficult to have the faith you need. Don’t set your sights on other people as your answer; focus on learning to trust God and God alone.  Your success in life is found in Him.  Joshua 1:8 tells us, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it.  For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”  Sometimes God may limit your access to certain people in your life for a season if you are relying on them for success or security, and it is hindering your walk with Him. God has a plan for you, and there isn’t another plan on earth that can come close to matching it.  He wants you to trust Him when you can’t see where the path He has you on is taking you!  He wants to guide you into unwavering faith and trust!

Over and over, God has told us in His Word how important it is for us to trust Him and to follow His path for our lives.  God has promised to be our rock and our fortress, our vindicator, our provider, whatever it is we may need, and His timing is perfect. Remember, it is usually during the darkest seasons in life, when all Hell seems to be coming against you, that you grow the most!  Walk with Him!  Listen to Him! Cling to Him and His promises, knowing that truly His best is yet to come!
