Esther 4:14
For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?”
Is this your time for a “such a time as this” moment?
Esther really didn’t want to go to the king and risk her life to talk to him about the evil that was about to happen to her people. She was young and afraid to go in to stand before the king knowing that if he wasn’t in a good mood that day he could have her killed. I think any woman would be quite uncomfortable under the circumstances.
Is there something you know you should do, maybe a stand you need to take with friends or at work or maybe your husband and you are just too uncomfortable to do it? Maybe there is a Bible study that needs to be led and you aren’t feeling qualified, trust me – God doesn’t call the qualified to do things, He qualifies the called!!
The more I have read about Moses and Aaron and the Israelites the more I have realized that God was qualifying the called with them as well! Everywhere you look in the Bible God uses the most unlikely people to do the most amazing things! God does that so He gets the glory and so the one doing relies fully on Him not their qualifications!
Ladies, if God has asked you to do something or has put you in a situation that you are feeling skeptical about He has already equipped you to do what He has asked. Just pray, trust and look to Him for the strength and guidance!
