Psalm 18:1-2
David experienced a lot in his 70 years. He was hunted, he killed a giant, King Saul tried to kill him multiple times, his family wasn’t exactly there for him; I think they may have looked down on him like he was just a little punk (Read 1 Samuel 17: 28-30). But along the way these verses in Psalm describe how David learned to view God!
How do you see God today? Is your struggle so overwhelming that you can’t even take the time to think about God? Have you been so busy trying to work things out that you haven’t spent any time on your knees about it or in His word? I challenge you today to take a good look at Who He is! Your impression of God and His character, abilities
Allow God’s presence to surround you today instead of focusing on your problem in front of you! Turn on some praise and worship music. (When you get in your car today, don’t turn on a station that will play the music that makes you focus in on your problem, turn on some great praise!) Join us in our prayer room on our blog. Pour your heart out to Him today and allow Him to be your strength! Allow Him to be your rock and fortress and deliverer! Trust Him! God loves you more than words can say and He wants His best for you, but you need to allow Him to pour Himself into you by your getting to know Him more! The best is yet to come!
