2 Kings 3:17-18a
For thus says the Lord, “You shall not see wind or rain, but that streambed shall be filled with water, so that you shall drink, you, your livestock, and your animals.” This is a light thing in the sight of the Lord.

We become overwhelmed and frustrated in our circumstances when our challenges in life become bigger than how we see God. Trust me, whatever you are facing that seems overwhelming today is a small thing to God. Some things are allowed in our lives to grow us into all we can be for Him so I always ask Him if there is something I need to learn from this and could I please learn it quickly. He will always allow us to learn it when we ask, just not always “quickly” from my experience.

Has your “stream bed” dried up? Do you need God to step in and give you a miracle? We do serve a God of miracles and sometimes it is our lack of faith that hinders, sometimes it is because He knows that what we want isn’t always what is best so seek Him and His will. Hold on to the hope that God will move and He will provide even if it isn’t obvious to you right this moment. Remember the verses in Luke where it says in chapter 12 verse 27, “Consider the lilies, how they grow they don’t toil or spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory wasn’t arrayed like one of these.” If God takes care of the animals and the plants that grow how much more will He take care of you?

Whatever you are facing today, God wants you to hold on and trust Him, this is really a small thing for Him and He loves you enough to do right by you and to do what is best for you! God cares and He hasn’t missed or overlooked your struggles, He will be there through the storms, the famines as well as the good times. Look for Him today, trust Him and Know that He is the God of all and He will bring it to pass.
