Psalm 42:11, “Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.”
One of my absolute favorite quotes is, “Courage doesn’t always roar, sometimes it’s the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, ‘I will try again tomorrow.” By Mac Anderson, because some days that is all you can do. God promises to give you the strength for each day, but you don’t get the next week’s worth today, you get what you need as you go so you must rely on Him and put your hope and faith in Him and who He is. Whether you are facing struggles or just everyday situations you can hold on to Isaiah 41:10, “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
God wants to walk with us and give us the strength we need, but we still have to choose it. If you are like me at all you may find yourself taking things back and trying to do and fix yourself or just simply even trying to do it all yourself instead of walking in His strength. It can be so difficult when you can’t see that He is working on things and you just want to jump in and take over so you can know it is getting done. Yeah, that’s not faith and trust. That’s more of a “move over Lord and let me show you how this is done” attitude and well, trust me that doesn’t turn out well. If you want His best you must choose to walk with Him and you must choose to trust Him, even when you can’t see it. That is not easy, but it is necessary if you want God’s plan and HIs best for your life. You don’t have to be going through difficult times in order to make the choice to put your hope in God and walk in His strength, in fact, you will find yourself more equipped to deal with storms in your life if you are in that practice.
God loves you and He wants to walk through life with you. He wants to guide you into all He created you to do and be. When you feel you have no hope, put your hope and trust in Him. When you feel as though you just don’t know what to do or you just don’t feel you can make it another day ~ put your hope and trust back in Him. Even when you are just facing another day at work and you are tired of all of the drama, ask Him for His strength to show His love to those you work with. Be the light by choosing to walk with Him. God created you for a purpose and He wants to use your story, but you must give it all to Him and trust Him with it. Ask Him for the confidence and strength you need today. Ask for His direction and walk in it knowing that truly then His best is yet to come!
Remember:
