Psalm 119:18 Open my eyes, that I may see Wondrous things from your law.
Do you ever feel as though you don’t matter in the Big scheme of things? Do you feel as though no matter how much you pray you just can’t seem to get an answer? Have you ever thought that no matter how you follow God and no matter how much you do right you can’t seem to get to the point where you feel as though it makes a difference? Maybe you feel as though what you are going through in the process of following God, all the hurt, pain, frustrations, and lack don’t really have a grip on God’s heart.
It’s time to ask God to open your eyes to see all the wondrous things He is doing on your behalf. Ask Him to give you a glimpse today of how much He cares about what you are experiencing today and all you have felt along the way. We all know the right words to say to each other, “God loves you, He cares about what you are facing, He keeps track of your every tear,” but it is ok if today you need Him to show you. It is okay if you need to ask Him to open your eyes to His love and to show you how much He cares – it’s okay if you are tired of hearing it and you need to see and feel something directly from God today!
We know God cares, we know that He has a plan for us, I think Jeremiah 29:11 has become my life verse, I seem to quote it all the time. The reason for that is because I know how hard it can be, I get that there are days when you just feel as though maybe you are standing alone and you are hurting and wondering “why”. It is okay to feel that way but don’t allow yourself to live there, focus on the bigger picture and the fact that no matter what you may feel today Jeremiah 29:11 is real and true! God is working on Your behalf even if it doesn’t seem like it to you right now. He cares and He will bring it all together if you can just hold on to Him and His word.
Whatever it is that you may be struggling with today whether it is big or small I would encourage you to ask God to open your eyes to what He has to say about it all and to give you a glimpse of what He is doing to encourage you today. The best is yet to come!
Quote: “Real optimism is aware of problems but recognizes solutions; knows about difficulties but believes they can be overcome; sees the negative, but accentuates the positives; is exposed to the worst but expects the best; has reason to complain, but chooses to smile.” William Arthur Ward
