Jeremiah 29:13,  “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

Are you pursuing Him with your whole heart?  One of my absolute favorite verses is Jeremiah 29: 11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  Make sure you are not sabotaging those plans He has for you.  

Sometimes God will place us in the plan and lead us in growing spiritually in it and other times we need to grow first and then we see the plan develop.  Be careful not to get in the way.  I have watched people pray and pray and beg God for a business or marriage and then when they get it, instead of pursuing God with their whole heart they pretend to be godly and kick back and continue down the same path of destruction until they lose it all.  Whether you are on the mountaintop of success and things are going right or you are in the valley trying to find your way, your answers and success still depend on your seeking God with your whole heart.  Don’t try going it alone!  Philippians 2:13 says, “for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill His good purpose.”  He won’t force His way in, in order for you to have success.  He is a gentleman and it is your choice.  Will you pursue Him?

It is enough of a battle to not be distracted by everything going on in the world right now.  You must keep your eyes fixed on God.  Seek Him with all your heart.  Ask Him what needs to go in your life and what can be added in order for you to be more like Him.  Ask Him to guide you and to keep you from making any mistakes that will keep you from His plan.  Don’t allow satan to get his foot in that door with his lies.  Write scripture down and keep it with you.  

By seeking God you will find the faith, strength, and encouragement you need for anything that comes your way.  God wants to walk with you but you must seek Him and trust Him.  He loves you more than words can say and He wants to bring you into all He has planned for you!  Trust Him that truly His best is yet to come when you are seeking Him with all your heart!
