James 5: 13-16, Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
Let’s not underestimate the power of prayer today! No matter how crazy the world gets, our God is still the same, yesterday, today, and forever! Go boldly to His throne with your prayers. Ask Him for the faith you need for all that you face. Don’t allow your faith in Him to waiver. Ask Him for the strength you need to stand strong in your faith.
Now is not the time to be lax in your prayer life! You may not feel like it is making a difference, but you must trust that He is always working, even when you can’t see it! Trust Him and stay faithful to Him! Close your ears to satan’s words of hopelessness and spend more time in the Word of God. Draw closer to Him and allow Him to guide you in all that you do. Now is the time to open your heart and mind to a deeper relationship with Him. He loves you so much! Don’t allow satan’s lies in!
Turn on some praise and worship music today and grow your faith by praising Him for who He is and what He has to say. If you are at a loss of how to even begin praying I would suggest praying scripture and if you aren’t sure what scriptures to pray then just go to Him and pour your heart out to Him. He just wants to hear from you! We must all trust that God has a plan and no matter what it looks like around us, He is still on the throne and He is listening. Truly His best is yet to come and I believe that it is much closer than we may think!
