Psalm 46:11, “The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.”
Do you need a little more than a cup of coffee for a pick me up today? Something to help you walk in confidence and strength in all that you may encounter or face today? Let the words of this verse sink in! “God Almighty is with you and He is your fortress”. If you walk in that how much better will your confidence and strength be? God never called you to go through anything in life alone ~ not the good, the bad, or the ugly! Part of His desire when He created Adam and Eve was to have a relationship with them! He is a God of relationships and love for all He created and He wants to be personal in your life!
It’s so easy to get caught up in what you have to do or what is going on around you that you loose your focus on Him. He wants to be a part of every single moment of your day. Believe me, I have been moving and trying to get settled and as everyone knows that is a consuming task! I have had to force myself throughout the day to stop when I start to feel overwhelmed and focus on Him and not allow myself to get so wrapped up in all of the doing that I miss out.
So, what is it that you are trying to accomplish today? Is there something new God has put in your lap to do? Are you moving or maybe starting to homeschool your children for the first time? What’s up? God wants to be with you in it! He wants to give you the strength and wisdom for any and every task that comes your way! He wants to calm your storm and heal your broken or wounded heart. He loves you and He wants you to experience that love like never before! Maybe you have never really felt loved in your life ~ He wants to show you what that is.
God is not a god who is far off ~ He is The God of all and His desire is to be right there with you in all that you do! His love for you is beyond anything you can comprehend and He wants to show you that love by walking with you through every experience this life may throw at you. Don’t miss out. Ask Him today to show you how to walk in that and how to seek Him with your whole heart so you can experience His presence and grow in your faith and trust in Him. Grab on to the fact that God is with you when you are walking with Him. He will not force you to walk with Him, but He sure desires the opportunity to. Pour your heart out to Him and take some time as the verse before this one says and just “Be still”. Allow that to strengthen you and give you the confidence to accomplish all He created you to accomplish knowing that then truly His best for you is yet to come!
