1 Corinthians 1: 4-6,  “I always thank my God for you because of His grace given you in Christ Jesus.  For in Him, you have been enriched in every way ~ with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge ~ God thus confirming our testimony about Christ among you.”

We can never be too thankful for any blessing from God and that includes the blessing of other like-minded believers!  I am so thankful for each and every one of you and the opportunity God has given me to share what He gives me with you.  I have really grown to appreciate every believer who comes along because it is so encouraging to see how God is at work in each of our lives! I have even had conversations in the grocery store parking lot or in the store with women I didn’t know but connected over something random but they were believers and the conversation landed on God. It always blesses and amazes me how He can take sermons and Bible studies and use them in so many lives and in so many ways.  I have listened to the preacher preach before and I knew what I got out of the message wasn’t even close to one of the points given, but to me that just shows the power of God to work in us when we open our hearts and minds to His leading.  

An area God has really worked in my heart about is getting together with other believers, well people in general, because I tend to be a loner at times. It’s odd because I love people and I love getting together, but there are times when I have neglected that area of my life. The Bible is clear that we need each other and we should not neglect getting together because it helps us grow, encourage, and keep each other accountable.   I finally pushed myself to join a small group of Ladies at our church who get together once a week to discuss what God is showing them in His Word and discussing it.  It is such a blessing and so encouraging to be able to get together with other people who love the Word of God!  Don’t allow yourself to become a recluse!  Often the answer you need will be found in getting with other Christians who are seeking God!  We will never learn all we need to learn on our own!  We must glean from what God is teaching others and then dig into that and see what God may show us from it as well.  God often uses other people to show us something He wants to speak to us about.  I have been taking an online class this week with a company that is not Christian and I have learned some great things that I took the class to learn but it also gave me insight into some things about how some people who don’t know God believe and it was so evident that there are a lot of people out there who are searching for Him and looking in all of the wrong places.  

We don’t have a lot of time and let’s face it, we can accomplish more for God by working together!  Let’s make sure we are praying for other Christians and encouraging each other.  God wants to use each one of us for a specific role in His plan.  He wants to use your story to help others.  Let’s all determine to lift each other up in prayer, and encourage one another to become all God created each of us to be so we can bring God glory and draw others to Him!

I will close with these verses:  Ecclesiastes 4: 9-10,  Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor:  If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.  But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.
