Every morning, every day and in every circumstance we have the choice to believe God and to believe that His ways are always best. We have the choice to make every day whether or not we will fully trust Him or believe the lies Satan throws at us.

What are your relationships like when you lose trust? Is there much left? Hmmmm…..then how is your relationship with God if you don’t trust Him and His ways? We all talk about having a close relationship with Him and yet so often when we face struggles in life or we pray for something we desire or need, we find ourselves going through the motions but feeling as though maybe we should figure it out for Him! If we didn’t feel a need to figure everything out we wouldn’t be stressed! Stress and worry stem from our feeling that it is all on our shoulders, because well….. what if God doesn’t show up? Does that sound like trust to you?

I have often found myself over the years thinking that if things don’t turn out the way I planned or thought they should then God wasn’t there instead of trusting that maybe, just maybe God had a better plan. Sometimes things don’t turn out because there’s another person involved in what you are facing, a boss, spouse, child, friend and they choose to do their own thing and go their own way, then what? Was God not there? Did He not care that now your divorced, or you lost your job, or that child just insists on rebelling? God always cares, He loves you and He always has a plan, whether that plan is A or B, He will always bring you through it better if you will just follow Him and trust Him.

When you get up and you struggle to do what you need to do in order to fulfill what He is calling you to do, there’s a little voice inside your head telling you that you can’t accomplish what you need to accomplish, you aren’t qualified or capable ~ choose to believe and trust that He has and will continue to equip you to do all that He has called you to do!

Every moment of every day, you have the choice: will you trust Him or will you take this on yourself or worse yet will you believe the lies Satan is telling you to defeat you? If you are struggling with this today pray that God will give you the strength to choose to believe and trust Him in all that you do and face.
