If You Want His Best ~ Dig In And Follow Him Today!

by | Jul 20, 2020

Ephesian 5:1. Be therefore followers of God, as dear children;

There are no limitations here so in other words, whether things are good, or times are bad, whether you are struggling or you are thriving, no matter where you are in life, ‘be imitators and followers of God, as a small child following a parent.’

The best and true answers are always found in Him and Him alone!  You are not going to find the right answer outside of God!  Trust me, the world has a lot of “answers” for you, but if they don’t line up with scripture they are going to take you places you don’t want to go! Satan has a way of packaging ideas to make them seem good and right, but if it doesn’t line up with what God has to say about it, then you know it is a lie.  There has never been a more important time than now to be digging into the Word of God!

If you are feeling overwhelmed today and it seems that maybe there is an easier way, know this ~ His way is the best way and in the long run the easy way!  No matter what struggles you face, no matter how difficult His way may seem, He is with you and He will see you through.  When you choose a way that isn’t His way and you are “on your own” when the struggles come, there’s no more difficult place to be.  You have to keep in mind that God is for you!  No matter what lies Satan is trying to feed you, God is not trying to keep something good from you (Satan has used that lie successfully with people since he told Eve that in the garden ~ it needs to stop here!).  Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans for good and not for evil, plans to give you a future and a hope.”

Please let me encourage you today to follow Him, be an imitator of Christ!  Don’t be lured away by someone or something else.  Hold fast to what the word of God says and trust Him that He will see you through!  The best is yet to come!
