Jude 1:24-25 Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen
It’s time to praise Him!
We know He is the one who can keep us from falling and we know that He is our deliverer and has our best interest in mind for all that He is doing if we are following Him so what is left for us to do but praise Him!
It’s those times when you least feel like singing or being thankful or praising that we need to do exactly that. You know He is going to work in your situation and you know He loves you and cares and will do what is best in His time.
God’s heart is moved by our praise. We always want His blessing but when was the last time you took a day and determined to bless God with your attitudes, praise and behaviors? Take the time today to make your focus blessing Him instead of asking for Him to bless you? There’s nothing wrong with asking and expecting God’s blessing but it should work the other way around as well, we should have times when our focus is truly set on blessing God other than just Sunday morning in church.
Quote: “Laughter is sunshine in any life.” William Thackery
What a wonderful reminder to be a blessing to God! I remember when I was in the hospital and in a lot of pain, singing praises to the Lord is what got me through.
