Job 8: 3, 5-7
“Does God pervert justice? Or does the Almighty pervert the right? If you will seek God and plead with the Almighty for mercy, if you are pure and upright, surely then he will rouse himself for you and restore your rightful habitation. And though your beginning was small, your latter days will be very great.”
Job’s friend was actually making a mockery of him because he was certain that Job had done something wrong for all those things to happen to him. Job was living life right and doing his best to follow God and Satan hit him from every side trying to get him to curse God. Job may have gotten frustrated with life and all that happened but he didn’t curse God.
How about you? Do you feel as though you have tried to do everything right and yet things just keep getting worse with no relief in sight? Trust me I have been there and it is tough to not get frustrated with it all but the words that Bildad spoke were true in the sense that if we will just trust God and hold tight to Him and continue to do what is right God will come through and He will make your latter days better than the beginning.
Seek God today with all your heart and hold onto him knowing that He sees what you are dealing with and what you are facing and He will get you through to the other side. Remain faithful regardless of all that goes on around you and hold onto your hope in God with all that you have, don’t allow Satan to rob you of it.
If you have “friends” that are not helping your situation by being negative or dragging you down it may be time to distance yourself a bit until you can see straight again. Choose godly people you can hang with and talk with that will remind you of the truth. The best is yet to come!
