The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, And delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.
Do you need deliverance this morning? God is listening and He does care and He will help and if you have been seemingly waiting forever, maybe today is your day! Don’t give up whether your need is physical, financial or maybe there is a person that is tormenting you to death, or maybe you are waiting for that right relationship, whatever it is God has promised to heal and deliver!
Believe me I know how tough it can be when you are waiting and as these verses state, “many are the afflictions of the righteous” it would be nice if being a Christian meant we never struggled and never had a heartache again as long as we lived but that is just not the case. God promises here to deliver us though and we need to believe those words and live them out. Don’t settle and don’t give up, often it is when it seems as though things just couldn’t get any worse that our answers come.
I need this encouragement today as well, God often seems to use my Bible studies to work on me as well as anyone reading them. It is so important for us to walk in God’s promises and to have faith that He will deliver us unless He specifically tells you different. When God chose to not remove Paul’s “thorn in the flesh” whatever that was, He told Paul “no”. So, unless God has told you no then you can trust unless He does that help is on the way and victory is yours! Go in that confidence today and get excited as you watch and wait for Him to come through.
