Hebrews 3: 12-14 See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God.  But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.  We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end.

Let’s all make sure that in the midst of all of the craziness that is going on in the world today that we are making sure that we are taking the time to encourage each other in our walk with God.  

It is too easy to get caught up in our everyday “things” and miss out on encouraging each other or getting together to study the word of God, but we need to set our minds to make it a priority. Fellowship is so important in your walk with God so we need to make sure we don’t become lazy and recluse.  We need to make a point of reaching out to others.  Satan would like nothing better than to get each of us alone because it is easier to discourage and lie to you if you are.  

God wants to help you grow in your faith and trust in Him.  He also wants you to walk with other believers as you grow.  As it says in Proverbs 27:17, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”  We are to build each other up in our walk with God.  That is why so often we feel that wonderful boost and we feel empowered after a great church service.  We need that push and encouragement and challenge to walk daily with the Lord in our lives. I don’t know about you, but I can use all the encouragement I can get!  The world has gone crazy and we need to be the positive change.  With God’s help, we can do it and we can encourage others to grow in their walk with God.  We need to shine as the hope that the world is looking for because we know that the only hope there is in this crazy upside-down world is found in Him!

Take the challenge and be in the Word of God every day for the next 30 days!  Challenge the people you know to do the same.  Ask God to show you how you can be an encouragement to those around you as you grow in your walk with Him, trusting that truly His best is yet to come!
