Genesis 18:14
“Is anything too hard for the Lord?
Well now, that is a good question when you feel as though you are facing overwhelming odds and you can’t seem to see any way through. That question is very comforting and yet can be disturbing if you aren’t fully grasping that “no, nothing is too difficult for God!” It is also a great question to ask yourself when you know God has called you to something that scares you to death! If God has called you to do something He will prepare the way and He will see you through. It all comes down to how much you trust Him!
“Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.” Jeremiah 32:17 He is the God of all, the only God and the God of all creation, how could we possibly think that anything could be too difficult for Him?
I believe what our faith really comes down to is often not whether or not we believe He can do it but more of whether or not we think He will do it! Look at the people in the Bible who came to Jesus to be healed; they didn’t come to Him because they somehow thought they deserved it ~ they came to Him because they knew He could do it so they just believed that if He can, He will and I need to be healed! They came to Jesus with humble hearts, that is obvious because often His response was, your sins have been forgiven and then they were healed of whatever their ailment was! Not all illnesses and or problems are there because of sin, some may be, some aren’t but no matter why they are there, God is able to heal, God is able to help with your marriage or your finances, He wants your children to come back to Him more than you do! We need to learn to trust Him more so we will fully grasp that He has our best interest at heart and He will do what is best and right. God speaks in Jeremiah 32:27 and confirms the statement, “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?”
Matthew 6:33, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Line yourself up with what God has to say about you and all that you are facing or that He has called you to and then your faith will grow into the fact that you can trust Him and you know beyond a shadow of a doubt He can do it. God cares about even the tiniest details of your life ~ He is a God of details, just take a look around you! Ask Him to help you to grow in your walk with Him, increasing your faith and trust in Him for all that you do from this day on! The best is yet to come!
