Matthew 6: 9-13,  “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.  Give us this day our daily bread.  And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.  And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever!  Amen!”

My heart is overwhelmed with grief and concerns for all of the people who have been devastated by this massive hurricane, Helene!  They still have no clue who may still be missing or injured because cell towers are down and power is out for millions of people.  Roads are washed away so they can’t even reach areas of mass destruction!  It is absolutely heartbreaking so all I could even consider writing about today was to pray!

Please be in prayer for all of these people and for the crews who have been sent out to help!  This hurricane caused disasters from the East coast of Florida, up through Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee!  ONE hurricane!  There’s massive flooding up to the roofs of these houses.  An entire hospital had to be rescued from the roof.  Entire subdivisions have been demolished…. I can’t even begin to describe it all!

Lord God Almighty, You alone are worthy of all honor, glory and praise!  We humbly come and ask for you to be with all of these people Lord!  May they seek your face and sense your presence in their need.  Please enable rescuers to get to those who are still trapped or injured.  Please meet their needs for drinkable water, food, and everything else.  The list is endless Lord and you know what all they need.  May those who don’t know you turn to you.  Please provide as only you can!  May you just be with them in a special way so hearts will be changed and everyone will know that you alone are God!  May you receive all honor, glory and praise!  In Jesus name, Amen
