Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
So, what is your “all” today? Is there something on your plate that when you woke up this morning it left you with dread or anxiety just thinking about it? He’s telling you in this verse that, “yes, you can do what He has put in front of you today”. Don’t try tackling tomorrow or worrying about next week or about what the outcome of what you need to do today will be. Focus on the fact that you can do today what you need to do if you will just walk in His strength.
Are you getting ready for a big move, or starting a new job, or have you been facing an illness that has left you feeling weak and frustrated? Are you trying to get a better grip on your finances but the bills vs income ratio lately seems way out of balance, or maybe there’s someone you need to forgive but you just haven’t felt ready to let go. Whatever God is giving you to do today, He’s got you and He will give you the strength and wisdom you need if you will just seek His face. I have a mountain of things today as well so believe me this is as much for me as anyone!
Approach your day with the confidence that if God is asking you to do something or if He has allowed something He will walk with you and give you all you need to see it through. You are not alone! He loves you and He has a plan and you will know that. plan as you follow Him. He doesn’t tell us everything in advance usually. It is a day-by-day leading and walking together so you will rely on Him and you will choose to walk closer with Him. Carry with you, Jeremiah 29:11-13, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” He wants to be found by you. He wants to guide you in all that you do. He will give you the strength you need if you will just seek His face. Give it all to Him, don’t hold anything back knowing that you can trust Him and the fact that truly His best is yet to come!
