Isaiah 40:31
But those who wait on the LORD; shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

Are we there yet? Sometimes that is how I feel when I am waiting, I feel like that little kid in the back seat with the non-stop question, “are we there yet, are we there yet?” I can only imagine there are times God feels the same way some parents do “Don’t ask me again, we will be there soon.”

Trust me; you are closer than you think! Ask God today to renew your strength so you can make it around the bend to the promise you have been waiting on! Who knows it could be today or maybe next week. Maybe you are waiting for the right man to come along or maybe a new job or for your finances to turn around, whatever it is ask God to give you your second wind today!

God has a reason for His timing because He can see the big picture of your life so as difficult as some days can be while you wait it is imperative to trust that He is holding off because there are some details of your situation that are just not ready for the answer. Ask God if any of those details are things in your life. Is there an area of your life that you need to grow in that could be putting it on hold? Just ask God to reveal anything in your life that could be in the way. If your answer involves other people it could be they aren’t quite ready yet so pray for them.

The best IS yet to come, I believe that with my whole heart so don’t give up yet, renew your strength in God and be encouraged that it is coming! Get excited and be prepared God hasn’t forgotten you!
