A Royal Priest and Warrior ~

by | Nov 2, 2021

1 Peter 2:9,  “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;”

Have you ever heard that saying, “if Mama ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy!”?  As women, we often have a lot more influence than we may think.  As you read the Old Testament in 1st and 2nd Kings, over and over it will tell you who the King was and who his Mom was.  (Now, let me throw in a little disclaimer here too that when your children become adults you have no control over how they live, but you can pray!  If you have raised them for God but they are going their own way right now, pray for them and don’t lose hope.). God is calling all of us, men and women alike to be light so we can honor Him with our lives and others will be drawn to Him!  You are special to Him and so are those you love! You are His royal Warrior and Priest.

You are a part of His royal priesthood if you have accepted Him as your Savior.  Do you walk, talk, and dress in a way that represents that character?  It’s time to rise up and for Christians to become difference makers.  It’s time to carry yourself like the royalty you are.  While you may not feel as though you can change the World, how about starting with the world and people around you?  Allow God to arrange the level of impact and range of influence.  He wants to use you and your story!  He sees and He loves you and He has a plan.  Who has He put in your life that you can be a light to?  It takes spending time in His Word and being on your knees in prayer.  Become a prayer warrior for all of those around you and allow God to make the difference that He knows is needed.  Just put your “yes” on the table and allow God to lead you.

It’s time to become men and women of God to come together and support each other in becoming all He created us to be.  Dig in and be real and allow God to work in and through you like only He can.  Ask Him to help you see yourself and His plan the way He sees you and the way He wants His plan to work in your life.  Carry Jeremiah 29:11-13 with you.  Ask God what His dreams are for your life and then follow Him with your whole heart knowing that in Him, His best is yet to come!
