A Season Of Change For You

by | Oct 9, 2020

Isaiah 43:19, “See, I am doing a new thing!  Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?  I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”

Are you open to God doing something new in your life?  Are you ok with His changing things up a bit?  Too often we get comfortable with how or what we have been doing and change scares the fire out of us.  God is forever moving forward and sometimes that will take your willingness to change.  Sometimes it means you just need to hold steady and sometimes He will put something new on your heart that is coming but you need to wait on His timing.  The key is to follow His lead.  Keep your “yes” on the table and stay close by His side.  Don’t shut down what He may be trying to do in your life because of your fear of change.

Change is rarely comfortable, but it is necessary for growth.  Let’s not get into a mindset of “if it ain’t broken don’t fix it” and miss out on God’s best.  It may not be “broken” but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t need to change.  Open your heart and mind up to God’s leading.  Recognize that He has a plan that is so much more amazing and much bigger than anything we could ask or think so we need to get ready for all that He is wanting to lead us into.

So, what has He put on your heart lately that you have been balking at.  Is there a change that needs to take place in your life?  I would encourage you to spend time alone with Him.  Pray and seek His face.  Spend time reading your Bible and ask Him to show you His plan.  Don’t set your heart on your plans, open your heart and mind up to all the possibilities of His plan and allow Him to lead you into all He created you to be!  Trust Him that truly His best is yet to come!
