Ahhhh Lord…

Jeremiah 32:17, “Ah, Lord God!  It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm!  Nothing is too hard for you.”

Remember that when you begin to doubt that things will ever change:  Nothing is too difficult for the Lord!  Don’t let naysayers plant seeds of doubt in your mind about something you believe to be the will of God for your life!  God loves to do the “seemingly impossible” because that reveals His glory!  If you read the book of Ezekiel, you will see over and over, “And then they will know that I am the Lord.” He is the answer to everything, and He wants to be seen so other people will be drawn to Him.

As we all know ~ God doesn’t call the “qualified”, He qualifies the “called.” No matter how qualified someone may seem to be, it is still God who gave them the ability to do what they do!  He is still the God of miracles that He was back in the days we read about in the Bible!  His arm is not short, nothing surprises Him, and nothing is too difficult for Him. He created it all, so what may seem monumental or even impossible to you is but a small thing to Him, so trust Him.

If you are walking with the Lord and you are seeking Him with your whole heart, then put all of your faith in His doing what He has said He will do.  One of the most important things some people miss is the “walking with the Lord” part, and so often they pray, and when they don’t get the answer they are expecting, they get angry or frustrated. Trusting God for His timing and His answers is the key.  The closer you are to Him, the more you will have the same “desires” that He has for your life, and the more you will know that while you may not understand what He is doing, you trust Him anyway! God is the one with the plan! (Jeremiah 29:11-13). He loves you!  He cares about every detail of your life!  He wants to walk with you and show you things you don’t know! (Jeremiah 33:3) You can’t get there following your own path. You must get intentional about spending time with Him.

Whatever you may be facing and whatever He may be calling you to, just know that just like He made the heavens and earth by His great power, nothing is too difficult for Him!  He can handle all of it, but first, you must give it to Him, and then trust Him.  He loves you, you can trust Him with it all!  Trust that if His answer is different than yours, it is because His result will also be better.  We can’t see what He can see, and we don’t know the long-term effects, so put it in His hands, knowing that His plan is always in keeping with His Word.  Spend more time in your Bible!  Get to know Him more!  Highlight or underline His promises or any verses He shows you that will guide you.  You don’t have to go it alone, and you don’t have to come up with a plan or figure it all out, but if you want His plan, then you must learn to trust Him and follow Him with your whole heart!
