An Extra Dose of His Grace & Strength…

by | Jul 29, 2026

Hebrews 4:14-16, Since then, we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God; let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then, with confidence, draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in the time of need.

Do you need God’s grace today to deal with what you are facing? Have you reached the “end of your rope”? It is time to approach the throne of God boldly and ask Him for His grace to get you through and His mercy on your situation. God loves you, and He does care that you feel you are at your limit, and He has been there. This verse is clear that Jesus faced a lot of the same frustrations and hurts that we experience, so He can understand what we face and He can be compassionate toward us.

Your answer may be right around the bend, so you don’t want to give up now; you just need God’s grace to get you through until it arrives. You certainly don’t want to miss out on God’s best for your life, so now would be the time to tell Him you need an outpouring of His grace to see you through because you just cannot make it on your own!

Maybe it isn’t you that is at this point, but maybe you know someone who is at this point in life; reach out today and share their pain by listening and praying with them and going to God’s throne boldly for them, asking for God to show His grace and mercy on their lives so they can persevere. We are called to bear each other’s burdens and to pray for each other, so take a few minutes out of your busy schedule today and see how much it even blesses your life to share the load that someone else is carrying today!

Remember what it says in 2 Corinthians 12:9, And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. You are not alone. He will see you through to the other side of this. Maybe today you need to have an extra dose of His grace, and if you ask, He will gladly give it to you! Don’t miss out on what’s next by giving up. Hold onto your faith and trust in Him!

Quote: “Courage does not always roar. Sometimes it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, ‘I will try again tomorrow.’”
