Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

It is as important now as it ever was maybe even more important to make sure that we are fully equipped for Satan’s attacks. It isn’t a matter of whether or not he will attack it is just when will he attack. Satan is subtle and is always looking for your weakest moments to pounce so it is vital that we are in our Bible’s every day, listening to good music and memorizing scripture.

Bill has a book he wrote called The Day Satan called and it is about his experiences years ago when they were trying to help a lady involved heavily in the occult and witchcraft find deliverance. I was talking with a friend one day not long ago and she told me shocking things that she went through trying to help save some people from the occult in her hometown, in her case though these individuals wanted nothing to do with deliverance they only wanted to find out if she knew “too much”. Satanism is very real and he is involved on every level trying to drag as many people down as he can. It is rarely as dramatic as either of those stories but that world does exist and it is best to stay away from it and it is best to discourage young people that you know or love to avoid any type of association with it. I know they have glorified the vampire world but there is nothing truly attractive about it and it is real – not in the way they portrayed it, but it does exist.

Now ladies even though I am sure the majority of you have never and hopefully will never experience anything on that level you will still experience Satan’s attacks whether it is on your marriage, your self esteem, your children or maybe your testimony at work. Be prepared! Stay on your toes by being in your Bible, drawing close to God and when you feel “off” listen to praise and worship music and if you are in the heat of the battle take the time to memorize scripture! Ask God for verses that you can apply to memory in your struggle and then read them over and over until they are embedded in your mind. The battle is already one if you will just hang on to God’s hand, as it says in 1 John 4:4 “You are of God little children and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.”

Hold your head high, be clothed in His armor and know that the victory is already yours!
