Proverbs 31:22b and 25 Her clothing is fine linen and purple.  Strength and dignity are her clothing and she laughs at the time to come.

When you accept Christ as your Savior He “clothes you with His royalty” so your clothing is now fine linen and purple.  Everything from the past is washed away and you are a Child of The Most High God.  You are made beautiful in Him and if you allow Him to, when life is weighing you down, He will clothe you with His strength and dignity so you can laugh at the road ahead!

There are days for all of us when we feel so overwhelmed and weighed down by circumstances that to get out of bed and dress for another day of it can seem like a monumental task!  Don’t allow satan to have even a minute of victory in your life by feeling down and defeated, get up and get moving and rely on God for the strength you need to face the day!  We live in a world that can be quite difficult at times but our God is always willing to wrap His arms around you and clothe you with His strength and His dignity so you can get to the other side of it all!

Just like you have a choice on whether you are going to wear that dress this morning or a suit, a pair of jeans, or maybe your pajamas, you have a choice on how you will dress mentally and spiritually.  You can either put on God’s righteousness, strength and dignity or you can choose satan’s robes of defeat, depression, and depravity.  We all have times when we can be depressed, that is ok just don’t live there.  We are human and sometimes life hits so hard and so fast that we find that we are down and depressed but when that happens we need to do all we can to rise up out of that pit of despair and renew our hope in Christ and all that He has planned for us!  You may need to have a doctor prescribe some medication for you for a while to help you rise above in order for you to see all that God wants to do in your life.  Find a good counselor so you can work through it, but don’t live there ~ there is hope!  Spend some time singing along to some praise and worship music and watch how it will lift your mood! Have you ever worn your husband or boyfriend’s hoodie or jacket and if so do you remember that cozy feeling you got from that? That’s what Jesus wants you to do ~ grab what He is offering of His to give you to wear today!

God wants you to feel like you are His child, His Princess, He wants you to be able to walk today in His strength and dignity and with all the confidence in the world because He loves you.  You are His prized possession and He wants to love and care for you as you have never been loved or cared for in your life!  He wants to fill that void that other loves haven’t been able to fill.  He wants you to feel as special as you are!
