Do You Need More Confidence This Morning?

by | Nov 15, 2012

Judges 7:10-1   “But if you are afraid to go down; go down to the camp with Purah your servant and you shall hear what they say, and afterward your hands shall be strengthened to go down against the camp.”

After the Lord had told Gideon that He had his back and He would win this battle and after Gideon had put out two fleeces and the Lord showed him through the fleece He was still willing to make sure that Gideon went to battle in confidence.

Don’t be afraid to ask God for a sign that you are headed in the right direction.  God wants you to be confident in your calling.  The Bible tells us in James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.  God will give you the strength, the wisdom and even the confidence you need to do whatever He calls you to do.  Ask Him for all that you need in any area for what He has called you to do and His desire is to give it to you so you can be the best you can be for Him!

2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”  God has already equipped you to do what He has called you to but if you are lacking the confidence ask Him for it, He is waiting and willing to give it to you!

I don’t know what God may be asking you to do this morning but take these verses and go with all the confidence in the world that He is behind you and He will get you through!  God loves us and always wants His best for us and He wants us to be confident in Him so we are even more effective in all that we do for Him.  Pray this morning and ask Him to help you in any area you feel you are lacking and know that He will give you what you need.
