Luke 18:1, Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.
It seems as though it wasn’t that long ago we talked about this, but clearly there are times we need to hear it again.
It’s not over until it is over! That goes for whatever it is you have been praying about! Don’t allow satan to fill your mind with negative garbage! He is the father of lies so you can count on the fact that he is going to do his best to fill your mind with hopelessness and confusion. Don’t buy the lies! God is still on the throne and just because His timing is rarely ours, it doesn’t mean that God isn’t working on exactly what you have been praying for.
God’s ways are not our ways and He doesn’t think like we do, so you have to trust that whatever it is He is doing behind the scenes for you, is for good. He has a plan, He always has and He always will. Nothing is too difficult for Him and nothing is too small for Him either. Take it all to Him and just keep taking it to Him. Do not give up! Believe me, I have things in my life that I have prayed about for years and they weigh heavy on my heart and some days it’s difficult to think the answer is on its way, but that is what the Word of God says so I am taking Him at His Word.
Unless God has clearly told you “No”, don’t you dare give up. Don’t just throw in the towel, giving satan victory in your life. Ask God for the strength to keep striving for all He created you to be. Negativity is from satan. He wants you down and depressed and he wants you to give up on God. Stop those thoughts at the door! Do not allow yourself to focus on the negative. You must focus on the incredible God we serve knowing that He loves you, He has a plan, and truly His best is yet to come!
