Don’t Fret ~ He’s Got You

Hebrews 13:8. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

With all of the uncertainty in the world today, you can know one thing and that is the fact that God is still God.  He has not changed and He is still on His throne.  Seek His face in all that you do and follow Him.

Don’t look for your answers anywhere else.  Follow Him and seek Him with your whole heart.  Remember Jeremiah 29: 11-13, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.  Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.  You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

God wants a real relationship with you!  He doesn’t want to play the role of an acquaintance.  He wants your walk with Him to go much deeper than that.  He wants to be a part of all that you do.  He wants you to go to Him with everything just like a small child with their Daddy.  He loves you and He wants to be active in your everyday life.  Don’t wait for something drastic to happen.

Nothing takes Him by surprise.  He sees it all and He knows everything that is coming and He wants to be your hope and shield.  He wants you to trust Him with it all.  When I was young I can remember that feeling when my Dad got home.  When he would walk in the door I just knew that everything was going to be ok whether it was a blustery winter day or the sun was shining and I had just finished my chores, his presence said I was safe.  If there was any anxiety about the weather or something that happened at school, it just all melted away.  I just knew it would all be ok.  That is how God wants you to feel in His presence.  He wants you to know that no matter what storm is raging around you that He is there and you will be ok!  He loves you!  Seek Him!  Allow Him to wrap His loving arms around you and guide you into all that He has created for you and for you to do knowing that truly His best is yet to come!
