2 Thessalonians 3:3, But the Lord is faithful.  He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.

Is there a task in front of you that has you almost paralyzed with fear of stepping out in faith?  Has satan been taunting you, making you feel as though there is just no way you can or should do what God seems to be calling you to?

God is faithful, and if He is leading you into something, He will see you through!  He won’t ask you to do something and then leave you hanging as you follow Him. There may be times when you feel as though you are stuck and you aren’t seeing or hearing which way to go or what you are to do next, but that is when you need to trust the pause. Everything isn’t always “full speed ahead” when you are on God’s path. He has every detail calculated so if it’s time to pause, take that time to dig in, draw close to Him, and ask Him what you may need to learn for what He has next.  Remember, satan is the father of lies, and he will do his best to discourage you and make you feel like you are alone or that you weren’t really called to do what you are doing or going to do.  He loves to twist scripture, to hold you back or discourage you, so cling to God by spending time in His Word and in prayer.

If it seems like a tremendous leap of faith to step out, but you know that this is what He is calling you to do, then trust Him and take that first step.  Set your mind and don’t hold anything back. Surrender everything to Him that may be causing you to shrink back from that call. We all want to think sometimes that His best is going to just fall into our laps, but in most cases, we have to strive for what is good and right. You don’t have to do it alone; He is with you to guide you every step of the way.
