Don’t Hold Anything Back

by | Feb 20, 2021

Isaiah 61:1-3 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.  He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion ~ to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.  They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.

If you want all that God has for you, you must give it all to Him!  Don’t hold anything back in your life, loosen that grip you have on everything and give it to Him!

Jesus came to earth to “bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion ~ to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.”  Don’t you want all of His goodness covering your life?  If you do, then you must give it all to Him without holding anything back.  What is it in your life that you aren’t trusting Him with?  What areas are you struggling in and need victory?  What about your marriage?  How about your job, is there something else that you feel God is calling you to, but you are afraid to step out in faith?

Are you broken-hearted today?  Jesus wants to heal your heart!  He wants to give you your joy back!  He wants to take all of that hurt and help you to be better than you ever were before!  He wants to be able to use your story for His glory!  He wants to rebuild your life so you can be better used by Him!  It is not His will to leave you there in despair, He wants to lead you out of there so you can be used by Him to help lead others who are struggling there as well!  Don’t lose hope!  Grab hold of His hand and follow Him with your whole heart!  All of your answers to your situation are found in Him, so seek Him with your whole heart!  He can move that mountain you are facing!

Trust Him with it today!  Allow His healing power to pour over you like oil and heal and restore and bless you today!  It is His desire to see you through to be the best you can be for Him!  The best is yet to come when you are walking with Him!

All this gloom going on with covid & my doctor told me my GFR is 13 and I am in renal failure. My heart is broken all I can thi k about is leaving my 11 yr old granddaughter alone. She was abandoned by both her parents pretty much, she has told me her greatest fear is being alone and I have just not been my usual self trying so hard to get back to God.

I need this today. I’m struggling in my marriage in wanting to stay with my husband who for the last 21 years has just been nothing but lazy when it comes to everything. There has been betrayal by him for 19 years of this but I chose to forgive and stay and fight. But, I’m tired of fighting and just feel like walking away. Nothing but broken promises.

I am so sorry you have been dealing with all of that Carmen! I totally get it and I can tell you God is proud of you! It’s not easy to keep fighting when you are the only one fighting for it. God looks at you and says, “That’s my girl!”, so continue to ask Him for His direction knowing how much He loves you and He will guide you ~ that doesn’t always mean you have to stay but you do want His direction before you throw in the towel. Please feel free to email me ~ I would be happy to walk with you through this. ~ Janet. [email protected]
