Revelation 2:4-5a But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first.  Remember therefore from where you have fallen, repent and do the works you did at first. 

Do you love the Lord with the same passion as when you first accepted Him as your Savior, or have you become complacent about your relationship?  Hopefully, neither one of those are the case.  Hopefully, you love Him more now than you ever have!

Just like any other relationship, you must focus on growing your relationship with God.  He so wants to be close to you and for you to walk through life with Him on a daily basis, sharing the good and the bad.  He wants to be just like that best friend you call on a daily basis and that you share your heart with.  He loves you so much.  He loves you beyond what words can explain.

The only way to grow your love for anyone is to get to know them better!  The more time you spend getting to know God, the more you will love Him.  

What about the people you love?  Are there some who don’t know Him?  Are there some who don’t seem to care about their walk with God like they used to?  Pray for them!  Pray that God will draw them back to Him!  There’s only so much you can do and say when someone’s heart doesn’t want to hear, but you can always pray and prayer is always your best answer!  Don’t take prayer lightly!  Get excited about taking this type of prayer, especially to God’s throne, and go with boldness, knowing that it is His heart’s desire as well for them to come to Him!  

Don’t waste another day!  Pursue Him with your whole heart.  Don’t hold anything back!  Don’t miss out on another day of that close walk with Him!  When you are walking through life with Him, you can rest assured that His best is yet to come!
