Don’t Lose Your Hope Over This One Situation

Romans 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

What are you focused on right now that is just tearing you up inside?  Is it a broken relationship, or maybe an attack on your finances, do you have a wayward child or maybe trouble at work, does it seem to be all of the above?  What is it?

So often when we read this verse we read it but we still see the “all things” as this one thing that is happening right now will work out for my good instead of looking at the whole picture.  There are things God allows in our lives to mold us into who we are to become to fulfill His purpose in our lives and the “all” refers to literally all!  If you were going to have a new house built how would you feel if the builder told you that he was only going to use wood for everything because he wasn’t sure about ceramic tile or plumbing and windows were just out of the question?  Or what if you decided to bake a cake and you realized that you were missing the flour – how would that turn out?  It takes all of the ingredients to bake a cake because each one has a purpose and it takes more than just wood to build a house!  Your life requires more than just this one thing going on right now in your life as well so this is not going to be here forever God has a plan!  Don’t get so focused in that you end up depressed – God has victory in mind for you and He will deliver you from this mess you’ve been handed.

Each circumstance and each person that comes into our lives fills a purpose.  Sometimes we make bad choices and we feel as though we have ruined God’s plan but that isn’t true either, He just takes that situation and uses it to mold us into a stronger and more godly woman if we allow Him to.

So ladies, don’t get caught up in your past or your present situation to the point that you lose focus on God’s will for your life.  He is in the process of preparing you to be used mightily for Him so focus on Him and your walk with Him.  You can’t see what lies ahead but you can know that God wants to use you to your fullest ability if you allow Him to.  As I look out the windows this morning there are quite a few clouds and if that was all I focused on I would probably assume it was going to rain and it would change all of my plans for the day but when I look at all of the blue sky around them I know it is going to be a gorgeous day!  When you stop and look at what is going on in your life today don’t just look at the clouds, know that God has blue skies planned ahead.
