Jeremiah 17:7-8 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”
Do you really trust Him? If things don’t turn out the way you anticipated or hoped does it make you angry with God or do you see it as “He knows best”? We sometimes have a tendency to feel that if God is truly good He will do what we ask and give us what we want. God sees the whole picture and His desire is for your good. When God says “no” He says it because He knows there is a better way.
When we fully trust in God, as this verse says we will not fear regardless of what comes our way. We will be able to rest in Him knowing He is in control. Don’t allow your circumstances to dictate your faith and attitude about your situation, trust that God is working and that He will take care of you! God loves you and will move on your behalf.
If you are feeling anxious today about what you are facing I would encourage you to totally put your trust in Him. Don’t allow Satan to lie to you about your situation, God is faithful we just need to trust Him to always do what is right! The best is yet to come.
