Hebrews 11:1-2
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.

We could all use a little more faith I am sure, because we all struggle with the non-stop battle against all of the lies satan throws at us to discourage us. I don’t care who you are, satan will do his best to try to discourage you in all that you do and he will throw every lie imaginable at you to make you think that God doesn’t care. Since we know all of that, then that is where we need to begin!

You must begin with guarding the doors of your heart and mind. Check every thought and comment that comes in to see if it is destructive. If you are living with someone who is verbally abusive, I would seriously suggest seeking out some godly counsel to help you. If for some reason that is not available to you, believe me I have been in that situation, you can still fight it and win with God’s help! Your self talk is the first thing you must check. Nothing good comes from running yourself in the ground! God made you and He made you with potential, there are no limitations with God. No matter where you are or what you have done or anyone else has ever said about you, God wants to make you whole and He wants to build you up to be all He created you to be! Start by making a list of all of the lies you are believing about yourself or about your situation and then take that list to God and ask Him to help you write down His truth about each of those things! Remember; 2 Timothy 1:7 “God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love and of a sound mind!”

Whatever area it is in your life that you are lacking faith in, ask God for more faith! Be like the man in Mark 9:24, who said, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” God wants you to have faith, He doesn’t want you to be discouraged! What purpose would it serve to have a bunch of powerless Christians walking around? He wants you to believe! He wants you to be victorious! He wants to show Himself mighty in your life! He loves you and created you with all of the ability you need to accomplish all that He created you to accomplish. Trust Him! Create a list of affirmations of God’s truth for your situation today and keep it with you so you can go over them any time, especially when your faith starts to waiver! Know that there is nothing that is too difficult for God and know that He wants His best for you! The best is yet to come!

Let’s all commit to praying that God will move in each person’s heart that reads this today to give them all the faith they need for their situation and to glorify Him!

I have deleted emails lately (for a month maybe) because I am so busy and pretty much handling way too much. I wanted to thank you for letting God use you to write these because I read this like “He” wrote it for me. I really mean that. I literally yelled and shook my fist at Heaven within this past hour (I have never ever doubted His love before!)…and then I read this and it is exactly what I think He would say to me if we were having a two way conversation:). Just thought you might want to know:)
I have suffered a great deal in life and now I am trying to unwrap the bandages and I see many hurtful things and little else. My life has been peppered with a lot of great people and great times, but the rest feels very heavy. I will push through this and will see the silver lining at some point. But if only I didn’t know what I know or have felt what I have! Thank you for listening:)

    God bless you ♥

Yes, I believe by having faith anything is possible. As I battle with my ex husband over my children, I have faith. As I go through a transition at work, I have faith. As I support my brother in his battle, I have faith. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us!
