Focus On His Plans For Your Life

by | Nov 11, 2020

Proverbs 19:21,  Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.

Don’t allow your heart and mind to become consumed with things you can do nothing about, stressing over it until you are unable to do anything else.  Let’s face it, there’s a lot you could get wrapped up in and consumed with in the world, but unless that is what God has called you to ~ don’t go there!  If there’s something you can do about it and you know that is what God is asking you to do then, by all means, get it done.  God has a plan and a purpose for His plan and nothing and no one will stand in the way of His plan.  If there’s something or someone you are stressing over then get on your knees and pray.  Prayer is a powerful opportunity so don’t see it as your last resort for options.  God loves you and He wants to hear from you!

There’s so much negative and anger in the world right now so don’t lose sight of what God is calling you to do today. Don’t allow your mind to get caught up in the negative, guard your heart and mind! Spend time in prayer asking God to help you focus on Him and what He is calling you to do.  Don’t allow satan to distract you with all of the cares of the world and the hate and anger.  God has given you something to do so focus on that.  Distraction and procrastination are two tools satan loves to use on you to keep you from all God has planned for you.  Believe me, I get it!  There’s always someone who “needs” something and if you are a person who naturally loves to serve others it is easy to just say yes to them and forget all about what you already said “yes” to God about.  There are times to serve and there are times that need to be set aside for God and you must protect that time or satan will find a way to rob you of it.  It’s not always something bad that satan will use to keep you from God’s best, so pray for God’s direction and discernment in all that you do.  I would encourage you to spend some time alone with God today and ask Him what His dreams and plans are for your life and get excited about that! Ask Him what is on His heart today.

God has a plan ~ He always does.  He sees and He knows what is best.  Trust Him with all of it!  Keep your heart and mind focused on Him knowing that truly His best is yet to come when you do.  Let me give you one more verse in closing:  Philippians 4:8 says, “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”
