Go Ahead ~ Stalk Him!

by | Nov 10, 2020

Job 37:5-6, God’s voice thunders in marvelous ways; He does great things beyond our understanding.  He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,’ and to the rain shower, “Be a mighty downpour.’

Sometimes I think we take for granted how magnificent God is!  He is beyond our full comprehension so I feel as though we overlook Him.  Have you ever really just sat and looked around outside and as you take in all of the incredible beauty, stop and allow it to really sink in that God created every detail.  That same God cares about every detail of your life.  Are you pursuing Him?

What does it mean to you to pursue God?  Does that mean that you go to church every Sunday and you never miss or maybe you also sing with the worship team?  What is it that you feel it really means to pursue a relationship with God?  Let me ask you this:  have you ever had a crush on a guy and you made an absolute fool out of yourself pursuing him?  You called, you left messages, you bought little things, you showed up places where you knew he might possibly be ~ you almost became a stalker.  Have you ever pursued God with that kind of passion?  Have you ever just thought to yourself that you just have to have a closer relationship with Him because you just can’t imagine your life without His constant presence?  God wants to be a part of your everyday life.  He wants to be a part of your decisions and plans.  He cares about the little details of your life.  The wonderful thing about having a relationship with God is that you don’t have to convince Him to love you ~ He already loves you more than anyone else ever could.  He sees and He cares, He just wants you to want Him to be a part of all of it.  He wants you to learn to trust Him with every detail of your life.

He is beyond our comprehension amazing!  He wants a closer relationship with you!  That same God who will determine whether or not it rains or snows or the sun shines over you today cares about you and wants a close relationship with you.  Feel free to throw yourself at Him!  Seek Him with all your heart.  Ask Him to show you what needs to be added or what needs to go in your life in order for you to walk closer with Him.  Trust Him knowing that truly His best is yet to come when you are walking by His side!
