God Has Your Back

Philippians 4: 6-7   Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.  And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

What are you worried about?  Is there something that kept you up half the night?  I am not making light of anything you are facing, I know many of you are facing some very tough situations, but as Paul says here; don’t waste your energy being anxious and spend your time worrying, make your requests known to God and believe that He will work it all out for your good.  He knows better than anyone what lies ahead so trust Him to do what is best, get your hands off it and allow Him to do what needs to be done, you may not understand now but you can trust Him with it all!

There is no peace in holding onto our worries and concerns, our peace from God comes when we have left it all with Him.  It is amazing how much better we function when we give our cares to Him and His peace fills us so we can do all that we are supposed to be doing.  When you are up all night and you are worrying about things you need to give to Him you don’t function at the level you need to and that just causes more problems often in other areas of our lives.

Guard your heart and mind today by allowing His peace to fill you.  Give it all to Him and don’t allow Satan to have a foothold with His lies trying to discourage you and get you to believe that God doesn’t care.  God always cares – it is His nature to care!  Choose your thoughts wisely today, spend time in God’s Word, listen to some great Christian music, something positive and uplifting and pour your heart out to Him and leave it there.  Allow Him to guide and direct you in all that you do during this time and trust Him.  Our best results and our greatest spiritual growth often come from the times when we have to blindly trust Him.  The best is yet to come.

Thank you very much for your uplifting message. I am a constant worrier even though God has shown me over and over again that He has my back and always has and will continue to forever and ever. I need to seal this promise into my heart so I can stop worrying for good.
