God Is Faithful

Hebrews 11:11 By faith, Sarah herself received power to conceive, even when she was past the age since she considered him faithful who had promised.

Our faith comes from believing God and remembering His promises and all He has done in the past!  God is faithful and He never stops working on what He has planned and the promises He has given!

I would encourage you to read this entire chapter of the Bible if you are wavering in faith today for your situation.  God wants you to believe Him and to expect Him to work in your life.  The best way to increase your faith is to remember all He has done and this chapter tells of some of the mighty miracles He did throughout the Bible.  Think about the faith that Noah had to have in order to spend almost a hundred years building that massive “boat”, seems more like a cruise ship for animals when he had never even seen rain!  It had never rained on the earth before the flood so people had a reason to think Noah was a bit out of his mind, they couldn’t comprehend rain let alone a flood.

What do you have in your life that seems so overwhelming that you cannot figure out how God could possibly “fix it”?  Read this chapter and remind yourself that you serve the same God they did back then.  Nothing has changed as far as what God is capable of doing.  Hold onto your faith and hope in God, He isn’t finished with you or your situation yet!

Maybe you are at the place where you are feeling that because of a loss in your life of either a relationship or a job or finances or all of the above that nothing will ever be as good as it was, but God is always moving forward so just as Job believed God could restore everything to Him you need to believe that as well!  God has a plan!  James 2:24 says, “You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.”  Put some action to your faith by believing Him for victory in your life!  Stop thinking your best days and relationships were in your past, move forward with confidence that God has better days ahead for you!  God is faithful who has promised!
