Psalm 62:1, “For God alone my soul waits in silence: from Him comes my salvation.

2 Peter 3:9, The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.

God is patient, and He is still reaching out because it is not His desire that anyone should die not knowing Him. While I am certain that the meteorologists naming these hurricanes had no clue the significance of the names, the message appears clear:

Rachel: Sheep

Simon: Listen

Isaias: Yahweh (God) is my salvation

He has reached out to us over and over, but sad to say, the darkness in America and around the world keeps growing as people shut the truth of God’s Word out.

John 3:16, For God so loved the world, He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but will have everlasting life.

God loves you and every other person He created, and He wants to spend eternity with you. The time is short until He returns. If you haven’t accepted Him as your savior, I encourage you to give your life to Him. Don’t put it off because tomorrow may be too late. He wants to walk with you through life. If you know Him, live your life in a way that will draw others to Him. Be His hands and feet. Show His love to those around you. The world is so full of anger; they need to see Jesus and His love for them.

God is speaking ~ who will listen?
