Psalm 56:9. This I know, that God is for me.

Did you really know that?  Do you really believe it?  One of the greatest lies satan likes to use is that God is somehow against you, that He doesn’t really want what is best for you, and that He is holding something back from you.  Stop and think for a second; why would God do that?  Why wouldn’t He always want what is best for His children?  Don’t buy satan’s lies today, trust God and know that He is for you.  No matter what you are facing or what you have done, God loves you, He wants to get you on track and He truly wants His best for you.

Now, let me clarify one thing here; God is for you, but you must follow Him in order to have His best and for Him to have your back.  Just because this verse says that God is for you it doesn’t mean that you are free to live any way you please and then expect God’s blessing and favor on your life.  God wants to lead and guide you in all that you do so you can be all He created you to be!

There are times in life that God’s best for you may be to grow you through tough circumstances so you can learn to trust Him and He can show Himself mighty in your life! No matter what you are facing though you can know that God is FOR you, He loves you and is working to make things right and to grow you into all you can be for Him!  He will not leave you where you are if you will trust Him to see you through to the other side!

Psalm 56:10 says, “In God whose word I praise, in the Lord, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can man do to me?”  What are you afraid of today?  There are situations that are truly fearful situations, but no matter what it is, you can know that God is for you and you can praise Him today because He loves you and will keep you safe.  Pray for God’s protection and look to Him for guidance.  There are situations that we need to get away from and God will guide you and protect you to get you safely out.  Pray for God’s leading no matter what you face and He will show you the way.  Romans 8:31 “What then shall we say to these things?  If God is for us, who can be against us?”  

If there is something you are called to do today and you feel as though the whole world is against you in your efforts, know that God is for you!  God will provide a way where there is no way and He will lead you into all you are called to do.  When you truly get ahold of the fact that God is for you, nothing can hold you back from all you were created to accomplish!

Trust God today no matter where you are in life.  He will keep you safe, direct your steps, give you strength and wisdom for His will for your life, He has your back because He loves you, and wants His best for your life!  The best is yet to come!
